Good choice for Astronomy, especially in concert with a wide field binocular. This is an excellent binocular, optically and mechanically. At 16X, the FOV is a bit small but adequate for most purposes. The moon is nicely framed, and the craters show up beautifully at this power. Bright star clusters, such as the Pleiades, are wonderful objects of view for this class of optics.
