This item is NOT night vision. IT IS night vision compass, meaning” glow in the dark” compass dial Misleading advertising in description. Night vision compass means just that, glowing compass at night so you can see the compass, NOT a NIGHTVISION binoculars. Which I thought I was buying. My bad I guess. Bad for Amazon popping it up when I searched for Night vision binoculars.I Returned this Item because it was not what I thought It was. In its defense, it seemed to be very well built, but it’s not “Night vision”
Optics are crystal clear Nice Binoculars with extra features at a budget price. I like the way they feel in the hands, not too heavy. I prefer the stiff adjustment to hold fast when taking a sight on a moving deck. “I ‘ve seen complaints about this on other reviews?”. The compass is spot on so far and the night illumination for the compass is fantastic. Out of the box, they are a good sturdy set of binoculars, let’s see how they hold up on the water.
Great Response from three captains I opened the box on my boat hooked to 3 other boats. I adjusted the binoculars in seconds and could not believe how clear they are. I passed them to the captains of the other 3 boats. Two decided to purchase the binoculars from Amazon and one already had another binocular that he found out didn’t float. Suffice it to say, this was a great purchase.
