Rubber-armored coating body makes them easy to hold and grip, and the focusing dial has the right amount of resistance. The roof prism is comfortable against eyes.

IPD Adjustment: set the interpupillary distance by grasping the body and bending it until you can see one circle of view.
Focusing:
1. Close your right eye and sight an object with your left eye. Focus the binocular by rotating the center focus knob until the image is sharp and clear.
2. Open your right eye and close your left eye, rotate the right eyepiece until the object is sharp and clear.
3. Both sides (eyes) are now in focus and you will need to use only the center focus knob to focus the object.

Super Clear Vision I cannot even begin to describe the look of joy that crossed my husband’s face when he saw these in our room. He was like a little kid seeing their new bike. We’ve owned a few pair of binoculars, however none even come close to how nice these are.
Good Budget Binoculars Unless you are backpacking, where every ounce counts, 8X40 may be the sweet spot for non-stabilized binoculars:
Very clear! This is a cool pair of binoculars. I didn’t test it for it’s waterproof abilities but I did use it for bird watching and I really like it. It is actually clear and easy to adjust. To be honest, I was surprised at how clear it was. I was not expecting anything all that great but was pleasantly surprised. My children are enjoying them too! We invited some of the neighborhood kids to take turns using this thing and they all want a pair now. Ha! I like that it comes with a carrying case…
