Athlon Optics , Midas , Binocular , 8 x 42 ED Roof Excellent binoculars, very sharp, well built, they look quite solid and obviously of excellent quality. I did not need the higher power of 10x but I wanted excellent optics AND light weight, I now have it. They are optimized for many applications but not when you need high magnification and short field of view. To carry and for bird watching they are hard to beat, especially at their price.I highly recommend these binoculars.
