  1. They Don’t Actually Magnify… Disclaimer, I’m an astronomer. But I have a young child and work with kids under 5 regularly. So when I was asked to do some astronomy for kids, I crossed my fingers and hoped that these cheap binoculars would work. Sadly, they do not magnify at all. The kids like them anyway, but we had more fun making pretend binoculars out of toilet paper tubes.

  2. You get what you pay for… Ordered these for my son’s birthday party as favors. The kids (3-4 year olds) loved it because they got a set of binoculars. And yes, they are very attractively priced, but they are also very flimsy and cheaply made. These are totally a one time use/play toy.

  3. Fun & Educational I’m a student studying Early Childhood Education and part of my class projects, we’re supposed to create lesson plans. I chose to go with the outdoor adventure, thought these binoculars are fantastic for kids. Pair them with some magnifying glass and safari hats… I promise you, the kids will love it!
