Great but pigeons need more This is the best feed I have found for my rescued homing pigeon who resides in a cage in my home. Most true pigeon feed comes in 50 lb bags. However, I have to make adjustments to this food to make it more nutritionally sound for a pigeon. Dove and Pigeon feed is formulated for doves. I take this feed and add (from the grocery store) barley, quinoa, split peas, lentils and other small dry items. I also add brown rice (my pigeon’s favorite). Be Careful I had been buying Hagen Pigeon & Dove seed for years … until I found a large chunk of glass in the last bag of seed I purchased. I contacted Hagen and was ignored. Needless to say, I don’t recommend this product.
