  1. SAVE $22 OVER BUYING CAKES FOR TALL SUET CAGES BY SLICING THESE CAKES INTO FORTHS! Our Bluebirds, Carolina wrens, warblers, woodpeckers-all 3 species, titmice, Carolina chickadees, Blue jays and everybody except the doves & ibises just LOVE these cakes.We cut them into 4 slices & use them in the tall cages & cut them in half then slice them in the middle for suet cages. At just over $6 a cake this really makes a cheap way to fill the tall cages that the suet cakes made to fit this cage cost $7 each! We get 4 fills from 1 of these cakes saving us $22 !   2. Birds Love Them! These are awesome, I just wish these weren’t quite so expensive because the birds love them and go through them like crazy. But we have really been enjoying watching the variety of birds coming to our feeder – goldfinch, chicadees, grosbeaks, sparrows, bluebirds, red winged blackbirds, etc. Packaging is easy to open, there will be some loose food in the package – I just toss that in a bowl style feeder for the birds to eat as well.

  3. A hit with south Florida birds! This is my first experience with suet. Up until now I have been using birdseed in my feeders.The birds love it and enjoy it as much as the seed! I live in south Florida and the cake has held up to the heat and rain without melting.
