  1. birds love it If you were wondering, It’s actually porcelain, not rubber. There are two tiny drain holes on the bottom. Good idea, but they could have made more or made them bigger. Mine gets clogged up with soggy food immediately. It does get gummed up quicker than my other bird feeders, requires cleaning more often. But a great idea and the birds really do love it. They just park themselves in the tire and eat while it swings.UPDATE: I knocked it down a star because the black paint…

  2. Squirrel loved it I thought this idea was great…a miniature tire swing for the birds. The only animal interested in this is/was my squirrel. I hung it far enough away from tree and low enough from the branch yet he chewed the rope off, ate all the seeds and took the entire rope (probably 5-6 ft) up to his nest. 3. For our birds! This is nostalgically cute! (As youngsters we had a swing made from a tire.) I did reinforce the “rope”with wire, but only because we have a raccoon who makes night visits and has a tendency to take bird seed, feeder, and all! I just can’t let him steal this one; I love it. I hung it out this morning, and I see a bird eating from it right now.
