  1. Not just for ‘Young’ bird watchers! This is a fantastic book. I’m homeschooling my children and we are studying birds. The only birds I could identify were cardinals, pigeons, and mourning doves. Thanks to this book, my children and I can now identify over 12 kinds of birds! That may not seem like much, but people have to start somewhere.

  2. Excellent first bird book! We love this book!! Ever since moving to an area with more nature, we’ve been so intrigued by all of the species of birds we see at our feeders. Thanks to this book, we’ve easily identified over ten different species (both sexes too), in the couple weeks of having this book. The book is a handy size that easily fits in yours hands and is great to have lying around near the window for easy reference. The book is organized by the color of the birds so when you see one you can usually identify…

  3. Great Guide to Birds, just wish there was more of it On a whim I installed a bird feeder and within minutes of filling it with food the birds arrived. It was great, it was wonderful, but I quickly realized that I couldn’t identify half of the birds that came to visit!
