Good and Hardy Suet Cake that birds like This suet cake was and still is a cake that didn’t melt and is still hardy and didn’t melt in the last 5′ rain that we had; what do when the suet cake melts after a rain; I have had that happen to me; what do you do – go somewhere else and buy another 2 pound suet cake and that is why I am praising this suet cake. Much better than loose seed The birds and squirrels love these. I have in a wire holder so it slows the squirrels down. I enjoy watching the squirrels too so I don’t mind. These seem to last much longer than loose seed and are much easier than large sacks of bird seed. They are shrink wrapped and arrive in good condition. I have three feeders with these.
