Parrots are known to be selective eaters and may prefer sunflowers to any other ingredient. While sunflowers are nutritious, they are also high in fat. Birds may become obese and develop nutritional deficiencies by consuming too many sunflower seeds. We’ve added premium Safflower as a substitute because of its similar nutritional value to sunflower seeds. Safflower seeds are loved by Parrots. Safflower seeds are a little bit bitter and may encourage the foraging for other key ingredients, resulting in a better balanced diet.

Bird not interested I have a blue and gold macaw that loves to eat. She doesn’t care too much for this food though. It looks and sounds great, but instead of my usual filling of her bowl every day, it’s only twice a week. I don’t mind it, but apparently Murphy does.
Not Happy with Product itself/ The shipper was great I have 11 parrots and none of them like this food. The shipper shipped fast it arrived in record time.
