this stuff is excellent. I’m on my second 25 pound bag For people who are serious about what their parrot eats, this stuff is excellent. I’m on my second 25 pound bag. We feed our African Grey fresh veggies, fruit, almonds, etc. in the AM, then seed mix at night. My local supplier is a flaky store that always runs out, so I started buying this stuff, and am very impressed with the ingredients and condition when it shows.
Low price for a ton (OK 25lbs) of parrot seed This Hagen VME Pro-Mix Seed is mostly safflower seed, which is what my amazon likes. 25 lbs is pretty much a year supply, so I keep it in the freezer for freshness. Glad it fit – though I might have to cut back on the frozen pizzas, which is a win/win.
