Great binox for a.person who wants to get serious about bird ID Have seen and used.better 8×42’s, but they cost twice as much. The weight, clarity, light gathering and quick focus are excellent. I would highly reccomend these for a birder who wants to see more.detail, and is ready to invest some money.
Out of the Box I absolutely love them Of course I haven’t put them to a complete test yet but I can guarantee that I will love them. Clear, bright image nearly to the edge of the lens. Small, lightweight yet durable. Like most reviews the objective lens covers are loose but they are designed to be loose. If objective eye covers are too tight they will likely make the objectives become misaligned over time. I will update my review if I find anything different than what I have reviewed above.
