A lot of sunflower and little seed – like potato chips for your bird but a good filler for treat time I like to give my birds a good fruit/nut and small seed filler for treats – I had to pick out the peanuts in shell – I never feed peanuts to my birds, but there weren’t a lot of those anyway. Not a lot of larger nuts period – mostly sunflower and safflower seed – some pepitos and other nuts scattered in but really a lot of just the filler seed in there. parrot food I really thought I was getting the one for smaller parrots. This is ok but my bird picks out a lot of the things in it (won’t eat) and it has a LOT of sunflower seeds which he loves but are not the healthiest choice of foods for a bird. I give him a fair amount of seed in addition to pellets, soft food and veggies, but this kind is only good as a treat food. A different formula for smaller birds (he is a Timneh Grey) might be better.
