Maybe I’m just dense…… The description of this product states that the outer part spins so squirrels can’t get a purchase, which deters them from eating the food inside the feeder. What I found was that the outer portion was so stiff it may as well be welded to the feeder part. I could barely turn it manually, and have yet to find a way to loosen it enough so that it works as described. I would not recommend it to anyone based on the description provided. Doesn’t Spin! As stated by another customer, this feeder looks very nice, but NOTHING SPINS! Oh, wait, the bottom bold spins and the thing falls apart. Doesn’t work at all.
