This Feeder Voted “Most Popular” By Our Visiting Birds!! The fact that the birds can not only perch on the sides but also rest inside the large feeder tray makes it a most popular “party pad buffet” for the birds.
Birds love it! This is the second one I’ve purchased, due to the overflow of birds on the first one! The chains are “cheap” and the feeder hangs a bit crooked, but the birds don’t care! They won’t eat from my “tube” style feeders, but this hanging tray feeder is never “birdless” until it is empty! It’s great for birders and people who care about wildlife but are on a budget, as it attracts birds without investing in fancy, expensive feeders.
Ornamentation can be a hazzard; make adjustments before using this otherwise great feeder I loved this bird feeder and had it for a few years. The birds loved it too. Easy to clean, it also holds a lot of food. Unfortunately, I’m posting this review to warn users about the ornamental scroll design at the base of the chains. One of the birds suffered a freak accident while feeding, and I want users to be aware of the potential (however slight) for injury.
