It cleanly split the double Albireo, and I was able to find the 3 Messier clusters in Auriga very quickly. Waterproof, great resolution, but stupid lens caps–comparison to Monarch For our 10-day backcountry sea kayaking trip, I bought myself this pair of binoculars (12×50) and my husband the Monarch 7s (10×42) (which are three times the price).
