Lots of “filler”- not clean seed. I received this product recently and am disappointed in the amount of filler material in the product. I won’t buy this again as the price is too high for the quality.
Not so clean After purchasing other brands of Sunflower seeds, today I bought a bag of Wagner’s. Too early to say if the birds will notice any difference, but I sure did. There was an unusually large amount of TRASH throughout the bag. Small twigs and other organic matter mixed in with the seeds. I haven’t seen this much trash in the other brands of seeds I’ve purchased in past years.
Urban birds love it. I live in an urban area and was missing my suburban childhood birds, so recently hung a bird feeder on my porch. The DC birds go crazy for this stuff, to the point where I’ve had to limit how often I refill the bird feeder for economic reasons — they empty the feeder in one day!
