What separates this item from similar items is that the main pole can be rotated 360 degrees and secured with a well made thumbscrew. This allows one to have the two items parallel to the main deck board to which it is mounted. For us, this was preferred so we could easily see the hanging items from the deck and from inside the house. Happy with it! This is a great plant hanger for the money. I looked around at garden shops and could not find anything as well-made and reasonably priced. Often these items will have cheap coatings that flake right off, but this is well done and the hardware is also very good. The overall piece is very sturdy. Recommend!
Sturdy and Attractive Better than advertised. Sturdy and easy to install. It is an attractive addition to my small deck. I’m now awaiting the humming birds to appear. I had a bit of a problem, because the overhang on the two by six rail cap didn’t have enough space for the bracket to go completely onto it. A bit of amateur use of a drill cut enough into the support to allow it to fit perfectly. The handles on the screws are large enough to turn easily and very strong.
