Wonderful Teaching Tool I purchased this book for my children to aid in identifying our backyard birds. The book contains beautiful color photographs as well as descriptions of each bird. I’ve had this book for years and it is lovingly showing wear due to the number of times it’s been used. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase it again.
Handy & easy Like this book because it is specific to Minnesota. It is short and compact. I don’t have to look through thousands of birds to find what I am looking for. Also love that it is sorted by color — brown birds, yellow birds, etc. How well do I like it? I keep replacing it when the one I am using wears out. This is my third copy.
My kids love this book We are studying birds in school and this book has really helped us identify many of the more common and some not-so-common birds in our area. I like how the book is laid out.
