These will be perfect for the eclipse! I purchased the 10×42 model for viewing the solar eclipse this summer. The binoculars are sturdy and well-made. The price was far less than the sun filters I was considering to attach to my regular binoculars. It is easy to find the sun while looking through them. You can see sunspots easily.
