Numerous and happy birds! It’s spring time in Philadelphia so there are more birds out and about, looking for food and mates. When I was growing up, suet was put out in the winter months so I started doing that on my deck. The suet was picked at but 2 months could go by before the cake was half gone. Nevertheless, I keep the suet cage full.
Great Suet The Small Birds and Woodpeckers love these and the other flavors.I always order 2 box’s and order more before I run out. Easy to put into feeder and don’t get any on your hands, just open one end and drop it in the feeder. Easy
Squirrels yes, birds no. My birds won’t eat this. It rots in the feeders, so I have to leave it down for the squirrels. Going to re-order the Heath Outdoor Products DD4-12 Birdie’s Blend Suet Cake, Case of 12, instead, because the birds flocked to that one! I have three different kinds of woodpeckers, plus nuthatches, jays, mockingbirds, and all sorts of birds ate the Heath, but none of them will eat this Wildlife Sciences suet.
