Review This heater sits on top of the water. It is not heavy enough to go to the bottom.Also, since the cord is not formed to fit over the bath, it pulls out.I don’t like it. I have a big rock on top of it to keep it in the water.
Birds love fresh water in the winter! This is a great product. It keeps the ice and snow melted and the birds happy. I didn’t realize how much the birds missed the bird bath until I purchased this ice eliminator. I also have squirrels and deer drinking from the bath. All the animals need to have water available in these freezing temperatures.
great product Living in Minnesota I was not sure this heat element could keep up with the cold. However it did great we had temps of -20 to -30 and it never froze quality product
