Very likeable bird-feeder Very nice bird-feeder but this particular bird feeder is “NOT” SQUIRREL PROOF! I filled the bottom dish yesterday morning and got home this afternoon to realize that all the seeds and nuts were gone from the bottom dish. But, good try! I think i will buy a 12′ post and try hanging it on that; at this point in time…….the squirrels are winning the battle but not the war!!!!
Squirrels have figured this one out. It puts together easy and has a large enough tray for holding seed. The hangar portion is too open and the squirrels have knocked it on the ground 3 times already.
Birds love this and we get to view the birds feeding … Birds love this and we get to view the birds feeding but the squirrels don’t like it at all. It is always empty the next day… hmm guess I am going to need to buy a bigger bag of bird food…
