Lots of problems I bought this feeder due to rave reviews but I find there are lots of design flaws that render it useless in my yard. I hung this feeder on a large tree busy with bird traffic including bluebirds, juncos, cardinals, and tufted titmouse and filled it with dried mealworms. bird feeder i bought this product specifically to attract eastern bluebirds . these birds will not come to most seed feeders since they prefer insects , fruit . etc . the bottom tray holds mealworms , raisons and works very well in attracting bluebirds . the dome height is adjustable and can therefore be lowered to keep larger birds like jays , starlings from entering the feeding tray . the dome also is somewhat effective in keeping away squirrels , but not completely …..
