  1. Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner! This is a winner! It automatically turns on when the water temperature approaches freezing, then turns off once it is several degrees above freezing, again. This is great for only using power when needed and keeps the bird bath temperature low enough that it doesn’t encourage bird bathing when it is still too cold for them to do so, safely.   2. Very Satisfied so Far This bird bath heater is simple to hook up and well made. I live in the northeast part of the country, and so far this winter it has done the job of keeping the water above freezing. It also circulates the water gently. I believe it is worth the money. It comes with a 3 year warranty. You must keep it clean!!

  3. Excellent heater The heater keeps the water warm enough so that it doesn’t freeze, and the water is also not too warm. When there is no water the unit shuts off. Sturdy construction and the low profile works well in my shallow bird bath.
