Cosmo Gardens Crystal-Clear Large Squirrel Proof Window Bird Feeder with Four Extra-Large Suctions for Grip, Removable Tray with holes and Easy to Clean design

Choosing a bird feeder that’s right for you

Here are some things to keep in mind when selecting a reliable bird feeder.Size Larger bird feeders allow both medium sized and smaller birds. It also allows more birds to comfortably eat at the same time so that the birds are more likely to return.Trays Make sure the bird feeder has a tray for replacing the food. Without trays, the bird feeder can be a real hassle to clean and maintain – especially in the nooks and crannies.Rain-water drainage Make sure the bird feeder has holes at the bottom to drain away any water that gets in. Without the holes, water stagnates in the seed section – which isn’t good! Suctions There are several factors to keep in mind when dealing with suctions.
– Number of Suctions If you select a larger bird feeder, make sure it has at least four suctions. Larger birds do try their luck at the feeder. So do adventurous squirrels. With three or fewer suction cups, you risk a spill sooner or later.
– Type of Suctions Most bird feeders come with suction cups which are about 1.75″ wide, and relatively thin. Such smaller and thinner suctions offer less power, and again risk the unit falling sooner or later. Look for wider and thicker suctions.
– Position of Suctions (Visibility) Some bird feeders place their suction cups right in the middle of the bird feeder. Since suction cups are never very transparent, this can blur your visibility of birds hanging out at your cafe.
– Position of Suctions (Swinging) If the suctions are all on one side – especially on hooks – then the bird feeder might have a tendency to bang against the window in heavy winds like a swing. Make sure the suctions keep the bird feeder stable, even in high winds. You live once. In this one life, you don’t want to miss out on the pleasure of seeing a family of birds break bread at your window.

Product Features

  • VIVID. CLEAR, PICTURESQUE views of your favorite birds from the comfort of your home. The Cosmo Gardens Crystal Clear Bird Feeder is made from transparent acrylic so that you can enjoy the views of the birds visiting your home. Kids and pets spend hours gazing at the activities of the colorful, feathery visitors.
  • ATTRACT THE BIRDS. Birds can be very picky about their favorite dining hangouts. At Cosmo Gardens, we have kept this in mind to make sure that birds will choose *your* place as their water-cooler. Two separate compartments allows more kinds of seeds to attract more birds. The suctions allow the feeder to be placed at a sufficient height off the bottom of the window to help prevent sneaky squirrels from helping themselves to the seeds – and scaring the birds away.
  • MAKE THEM COME BACK FOR SECONDS. The large area of the feeder makes the dining a pleasant experience for the birds. Don’t go for a cheap, small unit where the birds have to cram their beaks to get to the seeds. Allow them to relax and eat at your fine-dining establishment. They won’t forget the soft cushion they stood on while partaking of the gourmet sunflower seeds. They will reward you by returning – with their friends and family.
  • EASY TO SETUP AND MAINTAIN. There are feeders which are fun for the first few days – till you have to change seeds, or clean it. Our feeder’s easily removable tray allows you to add seeds, and to clean the tray effortlessly. Don’t go for feeders without trays – the gunk sticks to the corners, and your feathery friends won’t appreciate it (and neither will your family). The roof on the feeder keeps the seeds dry, and the holes in the tray allow whatever water that gets in to quickly drain away.
  • STURDY. Some feeders just toss in a couple of cheap suction cups which do little to help the feeder stay on the window. No point crying over spilt seeds, we say. Instead, we have sourced our exquisite suctions from the good ol’ US of A. These are magnificient, extra-large suctions which can hold a great deal of weight. Four of them have been strategically placed to give you a good view of the birds, and to also prevent the feeder from banging on the window in heavy winds.
