Just the right depth for New England garden birds I LOVE this bird bath! It’s just the right depth for garden variety birds, great looking, and solid. No clue whether the birds will come, but it’s stunning sitting on a big rock, and I don’t know how they’ll be able to resist it. Winged creatures that splash, dunk and drink This took a while before the birds “found” it but once they did, they are there every day. Water does turn green over the two-three days before the sprinkler system fills it again but this does not seem to deter the winged creatures that splash, dunk and drink.
Even better than I thought! I have been searching for something that could go on the ground for birds and wildlife for a very long time. I can’t believe someone made something so perfect. There is an endless stream of critters taking advantage of this and it looks great too. Very sturdy.
