The Hummers love them over a number of others I’ve tried. The perches allow the birds to land and drink with less effort too. Best feeder we have used We have a large number of humming birds. This is the best feeder we have used and will buy more to replace other 2.Why?1) Large opening at bottom permits easy cleaning;2) Delivery of sugar water very good.3) The holes have yellow looking flowers. We have at least 4 different species of humming birds and have found they are attracted more to yellow. White doesn’t work as well and the ones without color – just holes in the red plastic are the least preferred.
arrived broken with no top for hanging. packing FAIL by Amazon. This feeder just arrived and it is broken and a piece is missing, so it’s unusable. Very dissapointing. It seems like a lovely feeder, however, Amazon has failed to package it properly. It was not even in the plastic bag, it was beside the bag. The box it was thrown into conatined a much heavier item which, no doubt, crashed the plastic and broke it. It looked as though the box from Amazon had been resealed with tape after falling apart, perhaps that is when the peice (the red screw on top…
