Love it! Beautiful little birdhouse! I polyeurethaned it to protect it from weathering since I hung it outside.
Hanging piece was flimsy! I bought this based on the fact that the picture showed it with a metal roof and the hanger was through the roof and not just tacked on like some of the other bird houses showed. When it arrived the hanger was just tacked on to a wooden roof–no metal roof. This is a much more flimsy hanging part. The bird house was shoved into a box too small for it and the metal hanger piece was bent down–nearly broken off. I will keep it but, will now need to drill a hole to attach the hanging piece…
I would definitely NOT recommend it. Not only is it flimsy I paid overnight shipping for this birdhouse with a pirch. I would definitely NOT recommend it. Not only is it flimsy, the hole is too tiny for the birds and it didn’t have a pitch. False advertisement. Waste of money. Very unhappy.
