  1. Terrible bird feeder, terrible customer service. I have had an old Heritage Farms Absolute Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder for years and I loved it…the old style one before they started adding the plastic windows to see the food level. Something knocked it down twice, and the second time it was not repairable. (My local birdseed store things it was a racoon or possum.) Still, it had lasted a long time, so I went to get another one. When I saw this cute little red one, I liked it and emailed the company with some questions about the sturdiness…

  2. not squirrel proof This squirrel proof feeder was torn up by a squirrel within the first two weeks of purchase. After payng that kind of money and it doesn’t even do what it says it will do. I would like my money back.Heritage Farms Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder

  3. Feeder broke immediately I too owned the larger version of this Heritage Farms feeder for many years, but I wanted a smaller one to put on a post (No, the big one doesn’t stop squirrels, but at least it slows them down and they don’t destroy it.) This new smaller, red model is a waste of money! The spring loaded places where the birds sit at attached to flimsy springs that come unstuck immediately everytime I put them in place. They are supposed to be held firmly with metal tabs that you put down, but they get loose…
